The story of Relief Play started when founder, Landon Battles, was barely making ends meet after graduating from Bradley University. With payments always in default and constantly seeking forbearance, he decided to come up with a solution.
Tired of seeing himself, his wife, and millions of other Americans needing relief from massive student loan debt, the idea of Relief Play was born. The idea of Relief Play actually occurred in 2012 while Landon and his wife, Amanda, were both deeply in student loan debt while living in Dallas, TX. However, It wasn’t until 2020, during the covid pandemic that Landon decided to bring Relief Play to life. With businesses being closed, Landon finally had the time to sit down and develop Relief Play. In 2021, Relief Play, the solution to student loan debt, was created to help relieve the burden of millions of Americans suffering from student loan debt.
